General Motors non vende Opel, Berlino si infuria

Dopo che la General Motors ha reso noto al mondo di non essere più intenzionata a vendere la Opel alla Magna, Berlino si infuria. La trattativa, dopo mesi, era data praticamente per certa e questa decisione è ginta all’improvviso.

Ulrich Wilhelm, portavoce del governo tedesco, ha espresso il rammarico di tutta la Germania, chiedendo un rimborso alla casa automobilistica Usa per gli 1,5 miliardi di dollari che la stessa General Motors ha chiesto in prestito ricevuti per poter concludere l’operazione Opel.
Anche il portavoce del premier russo, Putin, si dice sorpreso di questa notizia. Ora, secondo le informazioni in possesso al governo russo, il consorzio Magna-Sberbank vuole studiare giuridicamente questa situazione.

Intanto è già previsto che la Merkel parli con Obama relativamente a questa questione. Anche Miguel Sebastian, ministro spagnolo dell’Industria, si è detto sorpreso di questa decisione da parte della General Motors. Dall’UE, intanto, si sono limitati a prendere atto della decisione della casa automobilistica americana, secondo cui è importante prima di tutto che le basi su cui si fonda la ristrutturazione della GM siano solide.
